Architecture & Design Engagement

A considered program of industry engagement designed to build long-term relevance within the architecture and design community. Through a combination of events, project collaborations, media partnerships and curated brand experiences, Momo Handles established a consistent and credible presence, shifting from product supplier to recognised contributor within the design ecosystem.

The Opportunity

To establish Momo Handles as a credible brand within the architecture and design community, it was essential to go beyond traditional marketing and become an active participant in the industry.

This meant showing up in the right places, with the right partners, and contributing in a way that felt considered, relevant and aligned with the expectations of a design audience.

The Approach

The focus was on building long-term relationships and consistent presence across the architecture and design landscape.

Rather than relying on one-off campaigns, the strategy centred on sustained engagement through industry events, collaborations, partnerships and curated brand experiences.

This involved:

  • Participating in key industry events and design forums

  • Partnering with designers and premium home builders on real projects

  • Aligning with respected media platforms within the design community

  • Creating owned environments where the brand could be experienced directly

The intent was to position Momo not just as a supplier, but as a recognised and credible contributor within the design ecosystem.

The Execution

Industry Events & Presence

Active participation in leading design industry events and platforms, including:

  • The Design Show

  • Saturday Indesign

  • ArchiPro Design Evenings

  • The Arc Agency events

These events provided opportunities to engage directly with architects and designers, showcase product in context, and build ongoing relationships within the community.

Project Collaborations

Collaborated with designers and premium home builders on residential projects, embedding Momo products within considered, design-led outcomes.

These collaborations extended into a video content series that followed projects from initial concept through to completion,  highlighting the role of hardware within the overall design and demonstrating how Momo products contributed to the final result.

This approach allowed the brand to be experienced through real applications, reinforcing credibility through use rather than promotion.

Reflection

Relevance within the design industry is built over time.

It comes from showing up consistently, contributing meaningfully, and understanding the culture and expectations of the audience, not simply promoting to them.
